Purchase tickets here.
The Carr Center & The Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit (MOCAD) Present… SEEN / UNSEEN from Invisible Labor section of the quadripartite installation, Shifting The Narrative, with Terri Lyne Carrington and Mickalene Thomas, a collaborative work that was originally commissioned by MIT in response to the 2020 civil unrest following the murder of George Floyd. This inspiring performance will have 2 showings, one at 7PM and the second at 9PM.
SEEN / UNSEEN is a suite of original music composed by the four-time Grammy® award winner, Terri Lyne Carrington, with accompanying visuals by collaborator and critically acclaimed visual artist Mickalene Thomas.
